Which one do I buy?
vs Pinecil V2: the TS101 is the more polished hardware, the Pinecil is half the price with the same IronOS option. Tip caveat: Pinecil short tips don't seat properly in a TS101 — stick to TS100-style long tips.
The tips you'll actually be buying
TS100-style long tips (~8 Ω) — The classic smart-iron tip: ~8 Ω heater, long shaft. Fits: Miniware TS100 & TS101; Pinecil V1 & V2; most TS100-compatible irons. Nothing notable — this is the universal donor of USB-iron tips. Full compatibility matrix →

Gotchas to know
- Costs Pinecil-plus money for broadly Pinecil-class performance — you're paying for fit and finish.
- Check which firmware it ships with; IronOS support is the reason to buy this class of iron.
